Released on 12/22/12 their critically acclaimed first album There Was Lightning is a catchy exploration through many styles of guitar rock. Starting with punk influenced opener "Dig This!" and ending with psychedelic noise mess "Superslow", all rock and roll bases are covered.

Following hundreds of shows, a vinyl release on Plane Groovy Records (a label that also features The Zombies), an indie/college radio play for 9/10 Lightning tracks, and opening slots for notable/influential artists, the 2nd album Take You to Stay was released on 10/01/17.

Featuring many different instruments that hadn't been part of its predecessor, Stay is an experimental departure for the band. The album was recorded/improvised mostly at Joe's house and featured the new band member, John Fallon (of The Steppes) on bass for the first time. It contains songs the band had previously debuted at concerts: the keyboard-pop jam "Squares", the catchy jangle-rocker "Well as Well", the dark-psyche head-nodder "Gotta Run", the eerie instrumental "Meteors", the title track "Take You to Stay" which features Barnaby Gallagher on the sitar, as well as in-studio experiments, such as teeth-grinding "Breaking Bones". A video for the garage rock track "On My Mind" was released to coincide with the album release. The band is currently recording several new albums.
