Patria / Extranjero and Stravinsky appear in their original version in the album Volk. \"Cachonda\" means horny and/or sexy in Mexico.\n\nReview\n\"Here is another excellent album of Nortec electronica from Mexican sound artist Vate. I understand Vate is currently living in Barcelona. It may be my imagination but I could swear I'm hearing a little European and Spanish influences leaking into his electronic compositions. What is clear is that he still makes highly listenable state-of-the-art music.\n\nCachonda is his newest release and the tracks, both originals and remixes, are more developed and reveals a highly individualized style. \"Diablo\" is an especially nice work, being very atmospheric and distinctive. \"Extranjero (Sin patria)\" is snappy and dancable. Most of these track falls firmly into Nortec but \"Stravinsky (Variaciones)\" hints of that turn to European influences I mentioned. All in all, Vate has become one of my favorite independent artists in this particular genre.\"\n\nCheck out Cachonda on Youtube.", "release_date" : "2015-04-21", "genres" : ["Electronica","Techno","Instrumental Electronica"], "collections" : [{ "name" : "Happy Hour", "slug" : "happy_hour", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/collections/happy_hour" }], "vocals" : "instrumental", "moods" : ["sensual","groovy","playful","exotic","energetic"], "uses" : ["vlog","party or club","fashion or beauty","advertising","travel","podcast background"], "energy" : 4, "instrumentation" : ["synths","drum machine","urban electronic beats","male vocals"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "Urban electronic Nortec music with sensual, groovy beats and Mexican influences, ideal for energetic video backgrounds like vlogs, travel, or fashion content.", "duration_seconds" : 1598, "tracks" : [{ "track" : 1, "track_no" : 1, "name" : "Extranjero (sin patria)", "duration_seconds" : 350, "duration" : "5:50", "vocals" : "instrumental", "bpm_approx" : 130, "preview_mp3" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/01-Extranjero%20(sin%20patria)-Vate_spoken.mp3", "preview_opus" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/01-Extranjero%20(sin%20patria)-Vate_spoken.opus", "free_download" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/1/file?format=mp3", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/1" },{ "track" : 2, "track_no" : 2, "name" : "Stravinsky (variaciones)", "duration_seconds" : 305, "duration" : "5:05", "vocals" : "instrumental", "bpm_approx" : 114, "preview_mp3" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/02-Stravinsky%20(variaciones)-Vate_spoken.mp3", "preview_opus" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/02-Stravinsky%20(variaciones)-Vate_spoken.opus", "free_download" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/2/file?format=mp3", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/2" },{ "track" : 3, "track_no" : 3, "name" : "Cachonda", "duration_seconds" : 286, "duration" : "4:46", "vocals" : "instrumental", "bpm_approx" : 109, "preview_mp3" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/03-Cachonda-Vate_spoken.mp3", "preview_opus" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/03-Cachonda-Vate_spoken.opus", "free_download" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/3/file?format=mp3", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/3" },{ "track" : 4, "track_no" : 4, "name" : "Diablo", "duration_seconds" : 360, "duration" : "6:00", "vocals" : "instrumental", "bpm_approx" : 119, "preview_mp3" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/04-Diablo-Vate_spoken.mp3", "preview_opus" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/04-Diablo-Vate_spoken.opus", "free_download" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/4/file?format=mp3", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/4" },{ "track" : 5, "track_no" : 5, "name" : "Cachonda (foreplay)", "duration_seconds" : 297, "duration" : "4:57", "vocals" : "instrumental", "bpm_approx" : 110, "preview_mp3" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/05-Cachonda%20(foreplay)-Vate_spoken.mp3", "preview_opus" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Vate/Cachonda/05-Cachonda%20(foreplay)-Vate_spoken.opus", "free_download" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/5/file?format=mp3", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/vate-cachonda/tracks/5" }], "previews_note" : "preview_mp3 (and an album's preview_opus and free_download) is the free version: the whole song with a short spoken Magnatune voice every 30 seconds, for use only under CC BY-NC-SA 1.0 (non-commercial, credit, share alike).
