This lead to his work with Suzanne Johnson who he met in 2002 through his college roommate, whose previous singing experience was limited to youth choir performing. Johnson's pure vocal delivery suited deGuzman's instrumentation perfectly and justified her re-recording the remainder of the songs as the sole featured vocalist for his debut album under Anonymph.\n\nAll songs are self written, recorded/mixed, and instrumentation performed. deGuzman's musical background includes violin, piano, and classical guitar. He was a violinist with the Denver Young Artist's Orchestra, and performed as lead vocalist/guitarist and sole song-writer for the house band at the famed 'Muddy's' cafe in Denver, CO.\n\nHis first industry credit was gained in 2003 listed as the film composer for Tokyopop's \"Street Fury:Blue\" DVD release.\n\nMr. deGuzman has a bachelor's degree in Biology and has held a Doctor of Pharmacy since 2005.", "photo" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/img/anonymph.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/anonymph/", "albums" : [{ "sku" : "anonymph-terrariumnv", "name" : "Terrarium (vocals removed)", "artist" : { "name" : "Anonymph", "page" : "anonymph" }, "release_date" : "2026-10-19", "genres" : ["Electro Rock","Rock"], "vocals" : "vocals removed", "moods" : ["nostalgic","melancholic","reflective","dreamy","mysterious"], "uses" : ["podcast background","emotional storytelling","tech or product demo","documentary","vlog","interview bed"], "energy" : 3, "instrumentation" : ["synths","drum machine","female vocals","layered melodies","electronic beats"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "Moody, nostalgic pop-electronica with warm, harmonized female vocals and mid-tempo electronic beats; ideal for emotional storytelling, podcasts, and tech or documentary projects.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Anonymph/Terrarium%20(vocals%20removed)/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/anonymph-terrariumnv/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/anonymph-terrariumnv", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=anonymph-terrariumnv" },{ "sku" : "anonymph-terrarium", "name" : "Terrarium", "artist" : { "name" : "Anonymph", "page" : "anonymph" }, "release_date" : "2011-03-18", "genres" : ["Electro Rock","Rock"], "vocals" : "vocals", "moods" : ["nostalgic","melancholic","reflective","dreamy","mysterious"], "uses" : ["podcast background","emotional storytelling","tech or product demo","documentary","vlog","interview bed"], "energy" : 3, "instrumentation" : ["synths","drum machine","female vocals","layered melodies","electronic beats"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "Moody, nostalgic pop-electronica with warm, harmonized female vocals and mid-tempo electronic beats; ideal for emotional storytelling, podcasts, and tech or documentary projects.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Anonymph/Terrarium/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/anonymph-terrarium/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/anonymph-terrarium", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=anonymph-terrarium" }] }, "license" : { "music_license" : "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 1.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 1.0)", "music_license_url" : "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/1.0/", "listening" : "Stream the free previews, or buy an album for $8 to download it in MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, OGG or WAV. 100% of the price goes to the musician.", "non_commercial" : "Non-commercial projects may use the music under CC BY-NC-SA 1.0: credit the artist and Magnatune, and share alike.", "projects" : "Magnatune members may use any Magnatune music in their projects, commercial or not (videos, films, podcasts, games, apps, websites, adverts), including work for clients, under the Magnatune Project Licence.
