He gives the listener an almost tangible experience of being in the presence of silent naturalness.\n\nBorn in Holland in the old city of Haarlem, just a stone's throw from Amsterdam, the inspiration of international exchange was always close by. In his early twenties, through reading one of his books, he became inspired by the enlightened mystic Osho. He became a part of the Humaniversity in the Netherlands, a breakthrough commune founded by one of Osho's disciples, Swami Anand Veeresh.\n\nSambodhi Prem's name means \"Enlightened Love\". For him it is an everyday reminder that he has been touched by one of the most beautiful, courageous and intelligent human beings that has walked the face of the Earth and a remembering to live and breath that beauty, courage and intelligence in his own life.\n\nAbout his musicianship Sambodhi Prem says: \"When one merges into stillness, when musical notes turn into waves of knowing and sounds are stirred and sent away on journeys through the air - to create music like that - a pureness of heart is required. I set out on a journey to face myself and to learn the scope of my own being. Beautiful music has to come from a beautiful place in yourself. At a young age I decided to discover that place.\" \"I like to create music to disappear into, to let sounds become silence, so that the listener, alone at night in a mellow room, can have a glimpse of the divine. \"\n\nMusic has been a thread running through Sambodhi Prem's life that joined parts that were fragmented and merged together polarities that appeared disparitive. \"When energy starts to bubble up from nowhere, heed its call. Go with the overflow and let yourself be part of precious things, follow your bliss, but don't ignore your agony,\" he adds.\n\nTogether with his partner Sandipa, an accomplished painter, he has written a book about the challenges of staying well in the modern day: \"The All And Everything Of Healthy Living\".\n\n Artwork credit Sandipa - As Earth Forms: The Pearl\n \n\"Celebration is my religion, love is my message, silence is my truth.\" - Osho\n \nSambodhi Prem lives together with Ma Deva Sandipa in Mount Franklin, Victoria, Australia, where the sounds of his studio resonate with the abundance of nature...golden leaves fall on the surface of a lily pond.\n \nYou can find out more about Sambodhi on his website.", "photo" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/img/sambodhi_prem.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/sambodhi_prem/", "albums" : [{ "sku" : "sambodhiprem-sunlightrainriver", "name" : "Sunlight Rain River", "artist" : { "name" : "Sambodhi Prem", "page" : "sambodhi_prem" }, "release_date" : "2018-01-20", "genres" : ["New Age","Ambient","Instrumental Ambient","Instrumental New Age"], "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Sambodhi%20Prem/Sunlight%20Rain%20River/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sambodhiprem-sunlightrainriver/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sambodhiprem-sunlightrainriver", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sambodhiprem-sunlightrainriver" },{ "sku" : "sambodhiprem-onehourbirdsong", "name" : "One Hour Long Bird Song", "artist" : { "name" : "Sambodhi Prem", "page" : "sambodhi_prem" }, "release_date" : "2018-01-12", "genres" : ["Ambient","New Age","Piano"], "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Sambodhi%20Prem/One%20Hour%20Long%20Bird%20Song/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sambodhiprem-onehourbirdsong/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sambodhiprem-onehourbirdsong", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sambodhiprem-onehourbirdsong" },{ "sku" : "sambodhiprem-rosewatermoon", "name" : "Rose Water Moon", "artist" : { "name" : "Sambodhi Prem", "page" : "sambodhi_prem" }, "release_date" : "2018-01-05", "genres" : ["Ambient","New Age","Instrumental Ambient"], "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Sambodhi%20Prem/Rose%20Water%20Moon/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sambodhiprem-rosewatermoon/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sambodhiprem-rosewatermoon", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sambodhiprem-rosewatermoon" },{ "sku" : "sambodhiprem-mirrorofthesun", "name" : "Mirror of the Sun", "artist" : { "name" : "Sambodhi Prem", "page" : "sambodhi_prem" }, "release_date" : "2017-05-12", "genres" : ["Ambient","New Age","Inspirational","Instrumental Ambient"], "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Sambodhi%20Prem/Mirror%20of%20the%20Sun/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sambodhiprem-mirrorofthesun/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sambodhiprem-mirrorofthesun", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sambodhiprem-mirrorofthesun" },{ "sku" : "sambodhiprem-sevenwaves", "name" : "Seven Waves of Knowing", "artist" : { "name" : "Sambodhi Prem", "page" : "sambodhi_prem" }, "release_date" : "2014-08-15", "genres" : ["Ambient","New Age","Instrumental Ambient"], "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Sambodhi%20Prem/Seven%20Waves%20of%20Knowing/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sambodhiprem-sevenwaves/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sambodhiprem-sevenwaves", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sambodhiprem-sevenwaves" }] }, "license" : { "music_license" : "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 1.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 1.0)", "music_license_url" : "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/1.0/", "listening" : "Stream the free previews, or buy an album for $8 to download it in MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, OGG or WAV. 100% of the price goes to the musician.", "non_commercial" : "Non-commercial projects may use the music under CC BY-NC-SA 1.0: credit the artist and Magnatune, and share alike.", "projects" : "Music licensing for commercial projects (films, videos, podcasts, games, apps, adverts) is coming soon: a $10/month subscription that lets you use any Magnatune music in new projects you launch while you are subscribed.
