Originally from Port Elgin, Ontario and now based out of Toronto, this relatively obscure little project (which records in an attic) focuses strictly on making pure, sincere and inspiring music while keeping production, promotion and image to the bare minimum (no gimmicks).\n\nThe music is heart-warming, uplifting, and soothing, and while most lyrics deal with the difficulties of life and relationships, there is always an underlying optimism and revelation of hope in each and every song.\n\nVercillo's musical background is mainly punk rock which is evident in the simplicity, catchiness, and sincerity of all of his songs (bar chords and verse/chorus/verse song structure). SHE SAID SAVE ME is currently part of the underground folk scene in southern Ontario which also includes Liam Sanagan (LUM), First Rate People, Zach Cassidy (littleMEN), Mary Cassidy, Anne-lise Dugas, Kildear, and Kid Sincere.", "photo" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/img/sssm.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/sssm/", "albums" : [{ "sku" : "sssm-raptor", "name" : "Raptor", "artist" : { "name" : "SHE SAID SAVE ME", "page" : "sssm" }, "release_date" : "2016-11-22", "genres" : ["Alt Rock","Punk","Vocal"], "vocals" : "vocals", "moods" : ["energetic","aggressive","driving","tense","playful","uplifting"], "uses" : ["sports or action","gaming","trailer","workout or fitness","skate or extreme sports","podcast intro or outro"], "energy" : 5, "instrumentation" : ["electric guitar","drum kit","vocal","bass guitar"], "sounds_like" : ["Nirvana","Green Day"], "summary" : "Fast, hard-driving 90's-style punk rock with melodic power chords and energetic vocals; ideal for high-energy video intros, trailers, sports, or workout content.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/SHE%20SAID%20SAVE%20ME/Raptor/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sssm-raptor/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sssm-raptor", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sssm-raptor" },{ "sku" : "sssm-thisimpossiblelove", "name" : "This Impossible Love", "artist" : { "name" : "SHE SAID SAVE ME", "page" : "sssm" }, "release_date" : "2015-06-30", "genres" : ["Alt Rock","Folk-Rock","Pop"], "vocals" : "vocals", "moods" : ["romantic","tender","reflective","hopeful","melancholic","peaceful"], "uses" : ["road trip","emotional storytelling","podcast background","slideshow or memories","wedding","travel"], "energy" : 2, "instrumentation" : ["acoustic guitar","drum kit","male vocals","guest vocal features"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "A gimmick-free acousto-folk album blending melodic acoustic and folk-pop, ideal for road trips, emotional storytelling, or reflective background listening.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/SHE%20SAID%20SAVE%20ME/This%20Impossible%20Love/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sssm-thisimpossiblelove/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sssm-thisimpossiblelove", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sssm-thisimpossiblelove" },{ "sku" : "sssm-sssm", "name" : "She said save me", "artist" : { "name" : "SHE SAID SAVE ME", "page" : "sssm" }, "release_date" : "2011-06-25", "genres" : ["Alt Rock","Folk-Rock","Pop"], "vocals" : "vocals", "moods" : ["hopeful","inspiring","tender","reflective","uplifting","peaceful"], "uses" : ["podcast background","emotional storytelling","documentary","vlog","spa or massage","meditation or yoga"], "energy" : 2, "instrumentation" : ["acoustic guitar","male vocals","raw acoustic sound","intimate vocal delivery"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "A raw, intimate acousto-folk album with soothing, uplifting songs—ideal for emotional storytelling, podcasts, and calming background use.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/SHE%20SAID%20SAVE%20ME/She%20said%20save%20me/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/sssm-sssm/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/sssm-sssm", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=sssm-sssm" }] }, "license" : { "music_license" : "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 1.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 1.0)", "music_license_url" : "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/1.0/", "listening" : "Stream the free previews, or buy an album for $8 to download it in MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, OGG or WAV. 100% of the price goes to the musician.", "non_commercial" : "Non-commercial projects may use the music under CC BY-NC-SA 1.0: credit the artist and Magnatune, and share alike.", "projects" : "Magnatune members may use any Magnatune music in their projects, commercial or not (videos, films, podcasts, games, apps, websites, adverts), including work for clients, under the Magnatune Project Licence.
