Also at about the same time he was developing curiosity in emerging dance and electronica styles of the nineties and sneaked into the piano rehearsal rooms of NYC music schools to practice blues, jazz and boogie-woogie piano. His HipHop and Reggae influences might also be attributed to this period of life in Harlem and Brooklyn.\n\nIn 2000, he relocated to Barcelona where besides playing in a classic rock cover band, worked as a DJ and produced music for various local artists. In the past eight years Andrej's been living in the south of Spain, have been involved with various bands and music projects, his most recent project is a live dance and electronic group Ape Nation, as well as playing at jazz piano gigs and composing music for TV, film and multimedia.", "photo" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/img/wavebuffet.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/wavebuffet/", "albums" : [{ "sku" : "wavebuffet-strictlyeclectic", "name" : "Strictly Eclectic", "artist" : { "name" : "Wavebuffet", "page" : "wavebuffet" }, "release_date" : "2014-11-23", "genres" : ["Jazz","Electronica"], "vocals" : "instrumental", "moods" : ["groovy","elegant","nostalgic","sensual","playful","funky"], "uses" : ["cafe or restaurant","lounge or bar","vlog","podcast background","fashion or beauty","travel"], "energy" : 4, "instrumentation" : ["drum loops (acoustic and electric percus","funky keyboard licks","analogue synth riffs","retro disco guitars","jazzy soulful house elements"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "Jazzy eclectic electronica with Latin dancefloor nostalgia, Afro influence, and retro disco guitars—ideal for stylish lounge settings, travel vlogs, and fashion content.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Wavebuffet/Strictly%20Eclectic/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/wavebuffet-strictlyeclectic/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/wavebuffet-strictlyeclectic", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=wavebuffet-strictlyeclectic" },{ "sku" : "wavebuffet-vernmorceaux", "name" : "Vernissage Morceaux", "artist" : { "name" : "Wavebuffet", "page" : "wavebuffet" }, "release_date" : "2013-01-15", "genres" : ["Jazz","Funk"], "vocals" : "vocals", "moods" : ["elegant","groovy","exotic"], "uses" : ["lounge or bar","cafe or restaurant","art or gallery","fashion or beauty","podcast background","luxury brand"], "energy" : 3, "instrumentation" : ["jazzy electronica","latin rhythms","acoustic and electronic sounds","sparse instrumental solos","vocals"], "sounds_like" : [], "summary" : "Jazzy, elegant, dancefloor-friendly electronica with Latin and urban flavors, blending acoustic and electronic elements—ideal for upscale lounge settings and sophisticated background use.", "cover" : "https://magnatune.com/music/Wavebuffet/Vernissage%20Morceaux/cover_400.jpg", "web_url" : "https://magnatune.com/artists/albums/wavebuffet-vernmorceaux/", "api_url" : "https://magnatune.com/api/albums/wavebuffet-vernmorceaux", "buy_url" : "https://magnatune.com/buy/album?sku=wavebuffet-vernmorceaux" }] }, "license" : { "music_license" : "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 1.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 1.0)", "music_license_url" : "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/1.0/", "listening" : "Stream the free previews, or buy an album for $8 to download it in MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, OGG or WAV. 100% of the price goes to the musician.", "non_commercial" : "Non-commercial projects may use the music under CC BY-NC-SA 1.0: credit the artist and Magnatune, and share alike.", "projects" : "Magnatune members may use any Magnatune music in their projects, commercial or not (videos, films, podcasts, games, apps, websites, adverts), including work for clients, under the Magnatune Project Licence.
