Cozmikbeats: Funky soul beats with urban hip hop flare.

Hailing from the depths of South New Jersey, Cozmikbeats or Dre Jackson is a hip-hop producer currently based in Philadelphia, PA.

In the tradition of left-field beatmakers like the DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Dr. Dre. Cozmikbeats is a man of many cultural influences, with a sound that owes as much to the Soulful Funk of Parliament/Funkadelic and as it does to classic old school RnB, pulling from all corners of the music world to craft soulful beats that are as sonically beautiful as they are rhythmically.

While Cozmikbeats started making beats as a bedroom producer in 1996, it wasn't until he moved to Philadelphia attending Temple University and became a part of the city's hip-hop scene that he really began to make a name for himself with his production skills on his first production projects on Philadelphia Native Rasheed, and Remix albums for local Hip Hop groups. He has placements on Network TV's "Rich Kids of Hollywood" and on upcoming mixtapes projects of J.Fash and Teflon.

You can find out more about Cozmikbeats on his website.
