Ambient Teknology : Horrorbox.
Upbeat underground with shades of new wave.
Horrorbox by Ambient Teknology is an EP in homage to the late great stars of
horror silver screen history. Originally recorded in 2003 and released only to
friends and family, this new incarnation of Horrorbox has more of the
established sound associated with Ambient Teknology. The three tracks on this
EP are designed to encapsulate the feel of 1930's horror combined with 21st
century electronic sounds to give a unique combination of the old mixed with
the present day. Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr. and Bela Lugosi are all mentors
for this EP, looking into the history of the horror movie greats.
