The album finds the musicians seamlessly incorporating complex harmonies, Hammond organ, piano, ukulele and even sitar to round out this solid collection of songs. "This is definitely the strongest and most interesting music we've created yet," says lead singer, Karl Obermeyer, "We're firing on all cylinders musically."

With songs ranging from the adrenaline-driven "Slackjaw" and intense "Amsterdam," to the intimate "Myself In You" and dynamic rock saga "Perfect Alibi," the band has delivered a solid album - the songs sharing emotional states and narrative threads.

Swim the High Tide was recorded and produced by Jason Orris at Terrarium Studios (Tapes 'n Tapes, Halloween Alaska, The Jayhawks).

Following successful receptions of their first two albums (Self-titled EP in 2006, and Dirty Neon in 2009), Swim the High Tide features the band's most mature music created to date.
