The acoustic-rock mentality driving Caught Between Summers stays consistent through-out all of the pieces, while never leaving two songs sounding alike. For each hard-driving ballad there is an acoustic piece to compliment it. On top of the tight drum lines, smooth bass grooves, and crisp acoustic guitar are the lyrics and stories which tie it all together. Connor's 2011 sophomore album, Caught Between Summers, maintains the singer/songwriter essence displayed in his debut album, Sunblind, while progressing towards a full band sound.
