I remain by the glimmer room the glimmer room : I remain.
Ambient music infused with the atmosphere of the long lost mists of 1900's rural england.

This album is a return to a more sparse sound, first heard on the band's album "Grey Mirrors". It uses multiloop based systems similar to the systems of Brian Eno to build up the basic tracks before the more melodic elements where produced. This provided the machines the space they needed to breath and throw up some truly intriguing avenues that would not have been explored with a more conventional approach to the composition. Slow long ambient loops that always develop and mutate underpin the melancholic washes of sound and melodies.

In essence it is the album where the machines finally have became true friends. "I Remain" is an album presented as one continuous piece of music but split into 9 discrete movements.
