The Citadel by Heir to Madness Heir to Madness : The Citadel.
Dark and dynamic progressive rock.

Heir to Madness is the moniker under which Jason Wiscarson administers his style of dynamic and dark progressive music. HTM is difficult to classify, atmospheric ambiance combines with scathing guitar work to make a unique blend of emotionally driven, sonically devastating soundscapes that are haunting in their depth. Sometimes calamitous and assertive; sometimes gentle and tenuous. Strong influences such as Opeth, Tool, and Porcupine Tree can be heard throughout, mixing with HTM?s style and grace.

After several attempts at a normal band experience, he finally decided the only way to make the music he truly wanted was to do it himself. Thus Heir to Madness thrust itself upon humanity. The name Heir to Madness is derived from the idea that we are all inheritors of madness; the madness of mind, ego, and separation.
