Jacksploitation by Jackalopes Jackalopes : Jacksploitation.
High energy horror-punk rock and roll.

Horror Punk similar to The Misfits, Samhain, The Damned as well as influences ranging from 50's Rockabilly to 60's and 70's Psych and modern punk and hardcore.

Founded in 1999 in the back of a Tattoo shop owned by lead singer, Rev. Chad A. Wells, The Jackalopes have continually strived to carve their very own X into the foreheads of music listeners everywhere.

Dealing in imagery ranging from sacred to profane, violent and sexy to downright silly, The Jackalopes are here to entertain you and provoke you and they push all the right buttons on their now classic first full length, "Jacksploitation!". The Jackalopes combine the dark and brooding elements of acts like Samhain, The Misfits, The Doors, The Damned and Christian Death with the revved up fury of Motorhead, Electric Frankenstein and early Metallica while combining lethal doses of Beach Boys, Beatles and Monkees inspired sing-along with the stage antics of early Kiss, Alice Cooper and Motley Crue! Throw in a heapin' helpin' of Social Distortion, Fear and Black Flag and top with copious amounts of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charles Manson and Anton LaVey and we're getting very near to the heart of the Beast! Coat the whole package in the world renowned, Lowbrow Art of the band's own Rev. Wells and we have the making of one HELL of a party!
