Sergio Azzolini and Vito Paternoster play Mozart and Haydn by Vito Paternoster Vito Paternoster : Sergio Azzolini and Vito Paternoster play Mozart and Haydn.
Cellist extraordinaire.

Could you ever think that these two instruments (cello and bassoon) could form a duo? And yet, three different composers (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Danzi and Franz Joseph Haydn) believed just that: the first one composing a beautiful sonata for cello and bassoon, the second one transcribing some of the most beautiful Mozart's melodies, and the third one with his two duets.

Sergio Azzolini, professor in Basel (one of the most important bassoonist of the moment) and Vito Paternoster (cello soloist of I Musici di Roma) show exactly how the sounds of these two instruments can enchant, delight, amuse.
