Piano Works by Tuskle Tuskle : Piano Works.
Contemporary jazz/classical hybrid compositions.

The pieces on "Piano Works" range from very simple and easy-to-play pieces, such as the "three birds", to overly extensive works with complex progression written for 2 pianos which would be the "Progredium". The same goes for the influences. You can sense a bit of a tango atmosphere when listening to "Black Elegance", or you might prefer to follow the contemporary development of "Tribute to Braid" which was inspired by the soundtrack of the video game "Braid". Basically jazz and modern classical music play a major role when it comes to the influences of this album, although they have rather been carefully separated instead of mixed together.

Piano Works is not what you might expect. Some of you might notice that the pieces don't really sound like a piano that has been recorded directly. This is an album that has almost completely been composed with one finger instead of ten. Of course, the sounds you hear do come from a real piano, although the composer of this album has never even seen this piano before. Additionally, the 'notes' do not even look like real notes, although digital composing software that allows one to create a score is widely available and works well, but in this case the notes are simply bars of different length with an associated 'velocity value', and yes, every single track has been created by drawing bars with a mouse. There is no solid style that has been maintained throughout the whole collection.
