Rock This Moon (vocals removed) by Burnshee Thornside Burnshee Thornside : Rock This Moon (vocals removed).
 Funny, funky blues.

This is a version of Rock This Moon with the vocals removed by software (Demucs). Tracks that had no singing are unchanged.

With Rock This Moon the funky "Steely Dan Duo" from Sweden puts forth a stylin' mix of jazz-soul and funky rock spiked with funny, out-of-the-ordinary lyrics. We particularly like the wry, laid back grooves of "I Wish I Could Write Lyrics Like Bob Dylan" and the instrumental "Where's The Beef?" as well as the stunning ballad "Time Flies Away" featuring Swedish vocalist Helena "Lilling" Palmeklint. Includes backing performances by some of Stockholm's finest musicians including Hans Olofsson and Asa Henrksson, who do an absolutely fantastic job on horns.
