Kettleblack by Kettleblack Kettleblack : Kettleblack.
Original, blues-based rock and roll.

The vibe that Kettleblack gives off is of a throwback to the jammin' bluesy rock bands in smoke-filled roadhouses that the band's influences all got their starts in. The fact of the matter is though, that Kettleblack has a larger sound conducive to bigger theatres and arenas, with hook-filled singalongs from song to song. The Faces, Black Crowes, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix would all be proud.

This first Kettleblack album (self-titled "Kettleblack") is a mixture of originals written by Sam Sasso and Jon Siembieda over the past several years. Both songwriters (and guitar players) brought their talents together to combine into this EP.The album was tracked at the Lincoln Lounge in Venice, CA by Steve Refling. In addition to lead guitar, Sam Sasso sings lead vocals on all of the songs.

Kettleblack hopes you enjoy listening to this music as much as the band enjoyed making it.
