Federico Moscogiuri : Arpeggi.
Original and evocative lute music.
An arpeggio is a group of notes played in succession, as in a harp - "arpa" in Italian. Like the harp, the lute is an instrument of remarkable beauty, with a rich history and ethereal sound. Both delicate and intense, the lute dominated music and art in Europe from the late 15th C to the late 17th C.
This album is a collection of original lute pieces, taking inspiration from some of the great Renaissance lutenists as well as more modern music to produce something quite unique, and easily enjoyable. Relax, and let it transport you.
