Ian Underwood : Help, I Lost My Body.
Melody-oriented modern jazz.
The record explores many influences, from complex jazz fusion to samba to country. Rather than use electric piano sounds or synthesizers, the sound of this album is focused on the interplay that can exist between piano, bass, drums, and saxophone, with no other instrumentation, overdubs, or production values. The music is meant to be at once accessible, yet challenging to the more serious listener.
"Help, I Lost My Body" is an album written to appeal to the senses of listeners desiring lush harmonies and evocative melodies, while delivering dynamic improvisation from some of New York's finest musicians.

The album features the incomparable talents of Melissa Aldana on tenor saxophone, Juan Andres Ospina on piano, and Devin Collins on drums.
