In the documentary film The Harps in the Trees, internationally renowned harpist Cheryl Ann Fulton leads her ensemble of medieval harp students, Angelorum, on a journey to the highlands of Scotland, where they serenade the very trees that provided the wood from which their harps were made. With filmmaker Ezio Taranto, they bring an inspired message of hope and harmony to the world by telling the story of their pilgrimage and illuminating the relationship between harps, trees, music, nature and the human spirit.
These tracks are perfect for licensing for video games, commercials or other soundtracks. Tracks 1-5 are from the soundtrack of the film. Tracks 6-8 are bonus tracks that were recorded for the film but not used. The song Adam's Friend from The Once and Future Harp is also on the soundtrack of the film and can be purchased here: http://magnatune.com/artists/albums/fulton-once?song=5
Sound engineer: Daniel Drasin.
A short music video, Chant for the Trees, excerpted from the documentary, can be seen on YouTube: https://youtu.be/X70GkDbyzQ4
"Our relationship with nature reflects our relationship with ourselves. Trees exhale, we inhale; we exhale, trees inhale. Breath creates music. Making musical instruments from the wood of trees allows us to create inspired music. We are taking the opportunity to bring a special message of hope and harmony to the world by telling the unique story of our pilgrimage and by sharing our passion for harp music, trees and nature in this film." - Cheryl Ann Fulton

Cari Live has been writing music and collaborating with artists on the online production company HitRecord since January 2016. Many of the projects include her own photography, poetry, and of course music. The site encourages uploading music to accompany other artists work and here a few of the works that although inspired by others' creations, now stand alone in this newest collection called "Afterglow". The cover photo is from a trip to the northern California coast where Cari Live visits as often as her schedule allows.
Thanks to HitRecord for your encouragement and all the hearts that support the creative process. An artist that dares to stretch and share their creations grows in ways that are unimaginable. It continues to be an incredible journey.

Velenje is a town like no other in Slovenia (Central Europe). It was built in just a decade during 1950-1960 as a concept for healthy living in a new socialist society. The best Slovenian architects of that time were hired for the job. Besides that, Velenje is also known as an incubator of excellent musicians and composers. Many of them study, work and live all over the globe. Because of that, accomplished music producer and composer Stane Spegel (Monom) from Velenje decided to do a remix album of 12 compositions of those fine artists who work in the fields of urban musical genres (jazz, hip-hop, electronic music, funk). Most of the songs are instrumental, but there are a few tunes with lyrics in exotic Slovenian language, too.
